Livit Duo is intentionally formulated without trace elements. In jaundice, minerals such as copper and manganese—normally excreted via bile—can accumulate excessively when supplemented. Zinc and other trace elements may also interact with medications or alter mineral balance in vulnerable children. To avoid these risks, no additional trace minerals are included in this formulation.
